Terms of Service

1. Purpose
Operonix is a student-led platform that connects students with short, outcome-defined projects from local businesses that are too small to hire interns. The platform is designed to enable businesses to delegate clearly scoped work and receive concrete deliverables, while allowing students to gain real, verifiable experience through execution rather than credentials. Operonix operates on principles of clarity, accountability, and practical value.

2. Eligibility
Participation is open to students who agree to comply with Operonix platform standards and project requirements. Businesses must represent legitimate local enterprises and submit projects that meet Operonix scope and outcome guidelines. Participants under the age of 18 may be required to provide parental or guardian consent. Operonix reserves the right to approve, reject, or remove users or projects at its discretion.

3. Code of Conduct
All participants must act professionally and in good faith. Students agree to complete accepted projects to the best of their ability within the agreed scope and timeframe. Businesses agree to provide accurate project descriptions, reasonable expectations, and timely feedback. Harassment, discrimination, misrepresentation, or misuse of the platform is prohibited. Operonix may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these standards.

4. Privacy and Data Use
Operonix collects limited personal and business information, including names, contact details, and project-related data, solely for platform operation and project facilitation. Information will not be sold or distributed to third parties. Operonix may review platform communications to ensure compliance, quality, and safety. Data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.

5. Liability Disclaimer
Operonix facilitates connections between students and businesses but does not guarantee project outcomes, performance, or satisfaction. All projects are undertaken at the participant’s own risk. Operonix is not responsible for losses, damages, disputes, missed expectations, or external conduct arising from platform use. Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

6. Payments and Compensation
Any compensation, stipends, or non-monetary consideration associated with a project must be clearly defined by the business prior to project acceptance. Operonix does not guarantee payment, employment, or ongoing work unless explicitly stated in the project terms. Disputes regarding compensation are the responsibility of the involved parties.

7. Policy Updates
Operonix may update these Terms of Service as the platform evolves or as legal requirements change. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
